Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – September Start

Contract Type: Full-Time (Term-Time Only)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Dependent on experience

A friendly and inclusive primary school in the CV6 area of Coventry is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across Key Stages and make a meaningful impact in their educational journey.

About the Role:

• Support pupils with their learning on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or within the classroom setting

• Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement targeted support strategies

• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Encourage pupil independence and confidence

• Support pupils’ social and emotional development as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting

• A patient, caring, and flexible approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• An understanding of safeguarding and the ability to follow school procedures

• A relevant LSA/Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
