Learning Support Assistant

Job Description:

ABC Teachers is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Secondary Learning Support Assistant to join a SEN school in Coventry on a full-time basis. 

 Role Overview: 

• Providing individualized support to students with a broad spectrum of special educational needs. 

• Opportunity to positively influence students' lives and contribute to an inclusive learning environment that celebrates student achievement. 

• Offering one-on-one or small group support, aiding in academic tasks, social interactions, and behaviour management. 

• Assisting students during transitions between activities and classes for a seamless experience.

 Requirements  

As the suitable Learning Support Assistant you will:  

• Have a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce. 

• Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities. 

• Be confident in your abilities and skills to promote happy and confident learners. 

• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check. 

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a suitable qualification for working with children and experience working with special education needs.
