Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

Location: Derby

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £90 - £105 a day

Teacheractive are looking for a committed individual to join a wonderful Primary school in the Derby area as a SEN learning support assistant. The position is a great opportunity to work alongside supportive and experienced teams and leadership. Working within this school will also offer a fantastic opportunity to make a difference.

They are wanting to add another member of staff to their team. The position is for an experienced learning support assistant that’s worked with both/either key stage 1/KS1 and key stage 2/KS2. A driven and empathetic teaching assistant who can support the teacher and the class to encourage learning. The role will be a mixture of 1:1 with a child with SEN and small group work also. You must have patience and be caring, yet slightly firm.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working in KS1 and/or KS2
• Hapy to work in small groups and 1:1
• Relevant qualifications – level 2 and higher
• Strong knowledge of SEN
