Legal Cashier

Job Description:

Our client, a respected legal company based in Kettering, is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join their finance team.  This is a full-time permanent role, working Monday to Friday 8.45am – 5pm.

This is a key role supporting the account’s function and ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules.

Key Responsibilities for the Legal Cashier role will include but not limited to:

• Processing supplier invoices, payments, and bank reconciliation's
• Handling VAT returns, bill posting, and interest calculations
• Managing payroll, month-end, and year-end duties
• Responding to general account queries and ensure accurate record-keeping

About You – What you need to be considered for the Legal Cashier role

• Proven experience as a Legal Cashier within a legal firm
• Strong knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
• Excellent attention to detail and high numerical accuracy
• Able to work independently and as part of a busy, deadline-driven team
