Location: Long Eaton, Derbyshire (NG10)
Salary: £27,576 - £30,045 per annum
Contract: Temp to perm
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

As a teaching assistant, you'll deliver essential 1:1 and small-group support for students with additional needs across a range of subjects.
This is a long-term, full-time role starting immediately, with a clear route to a permanent contract for the right Level 2 TA.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting students with additional needs or SEN so they can fully access learning
Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions across various subjects
Assisting teaching staff with lesson delivery and adapting materials when needed
Encouraging students to remain motivated, confident and engaged
Using positive behaviour-management strategies to support progress
Helping maintain a safe, inclusive and structured learning environment
What We're Looking For
Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting
Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional needs
A patient, adaptable and supportive approach to learning
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
An Enhanced DBS, or willingness to apply with support
