
Join our clients globally recognised team in Desford as a Logistics Administrator. This is a fast-paced, 12-month contract role where you will be the administrative backbone for their busy Logistics Planning team.
Your primary focus will be supporting a fleet of over 200 Material Handling Equipment (MHE) vehicles on-site. You will be the central point of contact for fleet administration, problem-solving, and ensuring seamless communication between internal departments and key suppliers.

Pay Rate: £15 - £17 per hour
Hours: Monday-Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00, Friday: 07:30 - 10:30

Fleet Invoice Management: Take full responsibility for MHE fleet invoicing, ensuring accuracy, and raising Purchase Orders (POs) for all vehicle repairs.
Supplier Coordination: Liaise directly with suppliers to coordinate fleet maintenance, including services, tyre fittings, and windscreen replacements.
Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve any invoicing disputes with suppliers, ensuring all payments are kept up to date.
Data Management: Accurately input data and maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets for the fleet.
Systems Operation: Become a proficient user of our Coupa/Next Gen ordering and invoicing system.
Team Support: Provide vital administrative support to the wider Logistics Planning team, including data entry, ordering goods, and building strong relationships across the Desford site.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Strong IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Meticulous Attention to Detail: You will be checking invoices for errors, so a sharp eye is essential.
Excellent Communication: The ability to liaise confidently with internal departments and external suppliers.
Highly Organised: You must be able to manage your own time, ensuring invoice payments and POs are processed efficiently.
Great Team Player: The ability to work closely with others is imperative.
Self-Motivated: You can work on your own initiative to get the job done.
An understanding of MHE Fleet vehicles (e.g., Reach Trucks, Counterbalance).
Familiarity with ordering/invoicing systems like Coupa or Next Gen.
