We're hiring an experienced Transport Trader to join a profitable, privately owned logistics business with strong national accounts and a trusted subcontractor network.

You'll be given ownership of your desk, the freedom to trade commercially, and the support to grow your earnings and career long-term.

Your Role

• Run your own transport desk with full commercial responsibility
• Plan, price, and allocate daily loads
• Secure profitable work through freight exchanges
• Negotiate strong, sustainable rates with hauliers
• Build long-term relationships with customers and carriers
• Manage service performance and resolve issues quickly

About You

You're an experienced transport professional who understands margin, service, and reputation.

You're confident negotiating, comfortable making decisions, and motivated by results. You take pride in running a well-organised, profitable desk and building strong industry relationships.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in transport trading, brokerage, or subcontract haulage
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability
• Solid knowledge of UK geography and general haulage
• Confident with Microsoft Office and transport systems
