Learning Support Assistant (Full-Time, Derby)

Education Personnel, one of the leading education recruitment agencies in Derbyshire, is proud to be working on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in Derby. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team on a full-time basis (5 days per week), starting ASAP.

In this role, you will be working with students who have Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), supporting them both inside and outside of the classroom to ensure they can access the curriculum and reach their potential.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or similar role is desirable.

• An understanding of supporting children with MLD or additional learning needs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young people in education.
