Overview
M&E Site Manager responsible for managing day‑to‑day mechanical and electrical maintenance activities on site, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of planned and reactive works across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee M&E maintenance operations, including PPM, reactive tasks, and minor project works
- Manage and coordinate onsite engineers, subcontractors, and specialist vendors
- Ensure all works comply with statutory requirements, H&S legislation, and company procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality checks
- Liaise with the client, FM teams, and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain service performance
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and reporting for all M&E activities
- Support with permit‑to‑work processes and risk assessment
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in M&E or Facilities Maintenance site management
- Strong understanding of building services systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, plant rooms)
- Good knowledge of statutory compliance within FM environments
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage subcontractors and prioritise works effectively
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical discipline
- IOSH/SSSTS/SMSTS desirable
- 18th Edition (if electrical) or relevant mechanical certification advantageous
