Maintenance Electrician

Job Description:

We are partnered with a major UK facilities management service provider, known for working with some of the best-known retail, commercial, and industrial brands across the country. This organisation has built its reputation on self-delivery, long-term client partnerships, and consistent investment in its people.

Based on a mobile contract around Leicester, you will be responsible for a small number of buildings in the area, carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance. Most sites are within 30–40 minutes of each other, making travel manageable and workdays more balanced.

Key duties include:

• Electrical Service, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of electrical systems

• Work on lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, and associated systems

• Ensuring elecrical compliance with H&S and statutory regulations

• Providing excellent customer service across client sites

On-Call & Overtime

• On-call rota: 1 week in 4 (slightly wider patch during call-out cover)

• Call-outs are generally infrequent

• Overtime & call-out pay: time and a half weekdays / double time weekends
