Maintenance Engineer - £42ph - FMCG

Job Description:

Rate: £42 per hour (Umbrella) + Overtime
Shifts: 12-hour Days & Nights (Continental Shift Pattern)
Sector: Manufacturing / Automated Production
Contract: Long-Term

We're working with a world-class manufacturer with an impeccable reputation for quality, high standards, and investment in people. They are looking for a hands-on Contract Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a brand-new, fully automated factory near Enfield. This is a long-term contract role for an experienced Maintenance Engineer, with the opportunity to work on newly installed, cutting-edge machinery and be part of an expanding site.

• Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery

• Electrical or mechanical fault finding and repair (depending on skill set)

• Minimise downtime and support on breakdowns

• Assist with continuous improvement projects

• Engineering qualification - City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)

• Proven experience in a manufacturing / production environment

• Good knowledge of automated systems and machinery

• Strong background in either mechanical or electrical maintenance

• Hands-on approach and ability to work as part of a team

• Excellent hourly rate: £42ph umbrella + overtime (engineers working 60-70 hours if desired)

• Work on a brand-new, fully automated site with ongoing investment

• Supportive culture, teamwork, and training

• Very long-term contract with potential permanent opportunity
