Mechanical Maintenance Engineer 

£54,000

4 on 4 off days/nights 

Desford 

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well established manufacturer in Desford. They are a household name within the building products industry.

• Overtime x1.5, x2 on Sundays 

The Role:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Reactive Maintenance
• Planned Preventive Maintenance
• Mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting
• Working on mechanical systems such as conveyors, gearboxes, Kilns
• Repair and overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Incorporated into the salary are the 290 mandatory overtime hours.

Candidate requirements:

• Level 3 Qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• Proven experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment- heavy industry.
• Strong team player with a positive, problem- solving attitude
