Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and proactive
Maintenance Engineers to ensure the technical availability of our production machinery and facilities. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preventing repair breakdowns through quality, cost-effective maintenance practices that align with company's goals.
The Maintenance Engineers will maintain machinery, select appropriate machine equipment, manage spare parts stock, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives for optimising machine operations.
Maintenance Engineer Location: Coventry Salary: £42,891 - £46,988 plus Bonus MonthlyRotating Shifts:
AM – 6:00am till 14:00pm and early finish on Friday at 13:10pm
PM – 14:00pm till 22:30pm and early finish on Friday at 18:20pm
OR
Permanent Night Shift:
Sun 20:50–06:00 | Mon–Thurs 22:30–06:00

As the
Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining machinery and be first line repair to enable production to continue within our client's
Coventry facility. You will provide technical advice and mentor apprentices.
In this role, you will be integral to maintaining the productivity of operations while ensuring the longevity of the machinery. Your efforts will directly contribute to reducing downtime, improving efficiencies, and supporting our commitment to high-quality production standards.
The Role:
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to identify and address potential issues.
Execute first-line repairs promptly to minimise production interruptions and reduce machine downtime.
Document repair procedures and outcomes to maintain a comprehensive maintenance log.
Actively participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing machine operation and production processes.
Adhere to all company policies and guidelines related to safety, maintenance, and operational procedures.
What we are looking for:
HNC Level in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
1 years’ experience in a similar role
18th edition electrical wiring an advantage
Portal fault finding ability an advantage
Electro-pneumatics, hydraulics, machine technology knowledge
