Job Description:

Maintenance Engineer – £47,500 – Daventry
Panama Shift Pattern (Days & Nights) – Overtime + 6% Pension + Life Assurance + Additional Benefits

The role

As a Maintenance Engineer, responsibilities include:

• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault finding across site equipment
• Mechanical maintenance on conveyors, gearboxes, belts, pulleys, shafts and bearings
• Electrical fault finding using schematics, multi-meters and panel diagnostics
• Replacement and repair of mechanical and electrical components
• Supporting overall system performance within a fast-paced automated environment

What they’re looking for

To succeed as a Maintenance Engineer, you will need:

• Level 3 engineering qualification (NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent), ideally mechanically biased
• Experience within manufacturing, production or automated distribution environments
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills with basic electrical competency
• Ability to safely isolate equipment and work independently
• A hands-on, reliable approach suited to a shift-based Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role
