Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Sileby
Salary: £45,000
Shift: Monday to Friday Days
We’re working with a well established manufacturing business that’s looking to bring an Electrical Maintenance Engineer into their days team.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for keeping the site running smoothly and safely. Day to day, that means:
- Carrying out planned maintenance on electrical and control systems
- Finding and fixing faults quickly to keep downtime to a minimum
- Working on motors, drives, PLCs, panels, sensors and more
- Supporting condition monitoring like thermography and vibration checks
- Getting involved in installs, testing, and inspection work
- Helping to improve reliability and reduce recurring issues
- Keeping maintenance records up to date in the CMMS
- Working closely with production and the wider engineering team
- Occasionally covering shifts when needed
- Following all safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, site standards)
The Right candidate
- Minimum of a Level 3 Qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Confident with fault finding and problem solving
- Experienced with industrial electrical systems (PLCs, drives, panels, etc.)
- Familiar with PPM systems and general maintenance practices
- Safety-conscious and a good team player
