Management Accountant – International Manufacturing & Retail
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid working available)
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum DOE
Contract Type: Permanent or Fixed Term Contract to Perm - Immediate start available

The Role

This newly created position will support the financial performance of international operations, providing insight and control across trading activities. You’ll work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and commercial support for overseas business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with clear, actionable commentary.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles for international divisions.
• Reconcile income and manage financial settlements with external partners.
• Support audit preparation and contribute to internal control improvements.
• Assist with cashflow planning and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, customs, and duty regulations across European markets.
• Act as a finance business partner to operational managers, influencing decision-making and performance.

About You

• Qualified or Part Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA ). QBE candidates will be considered.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, or multi-site environments.
• Exposure to international operations and trading would be an advantage - including customs processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams.
