Job Description:

Management Accountant – Hybrid | £40,000–£45,000 + Benefits

The Role:

As Management Accountant, you’ll work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure the smooth running of financial reporting and operations. You’ll be hands-on across all aspects of accounting, supporting daily processes, maintaining accurate records, and partnering with teams across the business. As the business grows, so will your role, with opportunities to get involved with aqisitions and take on leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain financial records and perform regular balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support daily finance operations and contribute to month-end and year-end processes.
• Assist with audits and provide ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Collaborate with operational teams to uphold financial controls and compliance.
• Champion continuous improvement and contribute to a reliable, efficient finance function.

About You:

• Studying towards or qualified in ACCA / CIMA / ACA.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with financial systems (Excel advanced).
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• A natural problem-solver with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Great team player.
