Management Accountant – Exciting Opportunity to Support the Business during Transformation

We are seeking an experiened Management Accountant to join a close-knit, stable team during a pivotal period of change and expansion. You will be supporting the Financical Controller. with the production of management accounts for multiple entities. What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Proven experience in management accounting, including preparing and closing off monthly and quarterly accounts
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end financial processes: cash books, accounts payable/receivable, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets
• Familiarity with management accounting practices, including consolidations and intercompany reconciliations
• Proficiency in Sage 200 or similar ERP systems
• Excellent Excel skills for reporting and analysis
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and hit the ground running
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude; comfortable asking questions and taking initiative
• Tech-savvy with confidence in utilizing various accounting and reporting tools

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with financial reporting in fast-changing environments
• Background in interim or project financial roles
• Additional experience in finance principles beyond management accounts

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in management accounting or relevant financial roles
• Experience working in SME, or entrepreneurial businesses

Other Requirements:

• Availability for a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension or permanency for the right candidate
• Hybrid working - 3 days in office
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and sales activity
• Requrement to finalise and close month-end and financial reporting by year-end
