Management Accountant

Job Description:

SF Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturing group to recruit a Management Accountant for a key role within their finance function. This position will take responsibility for producing management accounts across four group companies and will act as a key link between the general ledger and the Group Financial Controller.

This role would suit either a strong part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking for a hands-on, office-based position with clear ownership and exposure to group finance.

The role includes:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for four group entities
• Ownership of month-end from general ledger through to final reporting
• Acting as the bridge between transactional finance and group-level reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations and review
• Variance analysis with clear, concise commentary
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensuring consistent reporting and controls across the group
• Assisting with year-end and audit requirements

The ideal candidate:

• Be part-qualified or newly qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• Have experience producing management accounts
• Be confident working with the general ledger and month-end processes
• Ideally have experience in manufacturing or a multi-entity environment
• Have strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems
• Be comfortable working with senior finance stakeholders
