Management Accountant
CIMA or ACCA Part Qualified / QBE or AAT Qualified
£35k to £40k
Leicester LE7
Permanent, Full Time
Onsite (No Hybrid)
Operating within a challenging transport and logistics landscape, this company continues to thrive and has done so for many years.
Working within a small team, you’ll be tasked with reporting, ensuring insightful and accurate management accounts are delivered to key stake holders, reporting into the Financial Controller and Group FD.
Key will be the day to day accruals / prepayments and journalling etc but also the analysis of business performance. So you’ll need to be tech savvy and semi advanced on excel. Sage Line 50 or other Sage exposure is desirable
You’ll be driven, hungry to make your mark and affect the business. Influencing change and process development across the wider business, creating meaningful operational impact by taking the finance lead.
This is a great role for a budding management accountant with experience to elevate their career to more a junior business partnering level
The JD is the framework for a starting point, what it looks like in the future is down to you.
To be considered, you’ll need to be great with excel, able to prep management accounts packs, crunch data and deliver meaningful information to financial and non-financial people.
There’s minimal scope in the role to go upwards (possibly within the group maybe) but there’s plenty of scope to grow outwards.
