£30,000 - £37,000 +Mon - Fri (7:30-4:30pm) +early finish on Friday (12:30pm) + 31 Days Holiday + Training + 4.5% Pension + Health Cash plan + Life Insurance

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established electrical manufacturing company that continues to grow and invest in its operational capability.

Business is now seeking a dedicated Materials Planner & Buyer to strengthen its internal supply chain function, support material flow across the site and ensure that manufacturing output runs smoothly and efficiently.

In this position, you will work closely with the production, engineering and operations teams, taking responsibility for planning material requirements, placing purchase orders, managing supplier performance, monitoring stock levels and resolving any issues that could impact manufacturing schedules.

You will play a key role in improving planning accuracy, maintaining material availability and ensuring cost-effective procurement.

Candidates with materials planning or buying experience within a manufacturing environment are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Role

• Raising purchase orders, managing suppliers and maintaining optimum stock levels.
• Using ERP/MRP systems (including EFACS) to plan, schedule and monitor materials.
• liaise with engineers.

The Person

• Experience in materials planning, buying or supply.
• Engineering or manufacturing Background.
• CIPS or equivalent is REQUIRED
• Confident using ERP/MRP systems
