Maths Teacher – Nottingham, NG8 (QTS Required)

Location:  Nottingham, NG8
Contract Type: Temp to perm
Start Date: April 2026
Pay Rate: £150–£230 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Qualification: QTS required
Experience: Minimum 6 months’ teaching experience in a UK secondary school

Overview:
Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected secondary school in Nottingham to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher for a full-time position starting April 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maths educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS4 and potentially Maths at KS5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the KS3 & KS4 Maths curriculum, with KS5 teaching available if experienced.
• Plan, prepare, and assess Maths lessons in line with department policies
• Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions
• Contribute to department improvement planning Maths
• Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents’ evenings as required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching Maths experience in a UK secondary setting
• Is passionate about Business education and student achievement
• Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
• Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life
