Mechanical Assembler

Job Description:

We are recruiting for Mechanical Assemblers in Rugby, CV21 with immediate start.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday: 08:30 am - 5:30 pm, Friday: 08:30 am - 1:00 pm
Salary: £26,500 up to £32,000 DOE

Duties:
. Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, and component installation using correct connectors and techniques.
. Interpret engineering drawings, samples, or verbal instructions for mechanical tasks (cutting, drilling, tapping, soldering, brazing, cooler build).
. Follow safe procedures for tools/equipment (power tools, test equipment, measuring instruments).
. Set up, perform, and document tests within required timescales and ensure complete equipment connections.
. Conduct self-inspection, maintain process documentation, and assist with parts kitting and stock takes.

Requirements:
. Must have experience in electrical / mechanical assembly or fitting.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
. Wiring/soldering test must be completed.
