£14.00 per hour + Overtime
Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 Friday 07:30 - 13:30

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Assemblers or Mechanical Fitters to join a well-established engineering company. Our client has over 20 year's experience producing premium, durable products that help customers work smarter, safer, and more efficiently.
The Role
- To carry out heavy mechanical assembly work - sometimes in confined spaces
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to meet production deadlines
- Work from diagrams and technical specifications
- Check quality at every stage, raising any issues before products move forward
- Complete all relevant paperwork & inspection records
- Keep your work area safe, tidy, and compliant with Health & Safety standards
Experience and Skills
- Be newly qualified in mechanical engineering with some work experience or have previously worked in a mechanical engineering environment.
- Able to work independently but also a great team player
- Be able to read from diagrams and drawings.
- Positive, proactive, and comfortable working to schedules
- Passionate about producing top-quality work
- Reliable, flexible, and keen to learn new skills
- Experience with hand & power tools is essential
