Mechanical Design Engineer

White Label Recruitment are proud to represent an established engineering business who are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their amazing team. The company designs and manufactures bespoke pressure equipment, piping, and vessel systems, delivering engineered solutions to a variety of industries.

The Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for taking projects from concept through to completion, with responsibilities including:

• Designing pressure vessels, piping systems, and associated mechanical assemblies.

• Producing 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and technical documentation.

• Supporting prototype builds, testing, and design validation.

• Collaborating with production, project, and R&D teams to ensure robust solutions.

About You

We’re looking for candidates with:

• A strong mechanical engineering background (apprenticeship or degree).

• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or similar).

• Experience with pressure equipment, piping systems, or fabricated vessels.

• Understanding of design codes and standards (e.g. ASME, PD5500, EN13445) would be advantageous.

• A practical, problem-solving approach and excellent attention to detail.
