Job Description:
Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Contract: 3-Month Minimum (Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm)
Overtime: Available
Our client, a leading managed services provider, is looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance at a key Nottingham site.
Key Duties:
Maintain steam heating, AHUs, and air-conditioning systems
Ensure compliance with L8 for water and cooling systems
Diagnose and repair faults, complete PPM tasks
Carry out filter/belt changes, pipe repairs, and isolations
Keep accurate records using "Frontline" CAFM system
Follow health & safety procedures and prepare risk assessments
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Services or equivalent
Experience with pumps, valves, motors, and cooling towers
Basic IT skills and ability to read technical drawings
Strong understanding of site health & safety
