Contract length: 3 months initially, with extensions expected
Rate:£19 per hour
Start: Immediate (subject to DBS clearance)

  
We’re supporting a major defence manufacturing programme in Coventry and are looking to engage experienced Mechanical Fitters aon a contract basis, with multiple positions available and a strong likelihood of extension.

These roles involve hands-on work within a low-volume, high-specification vehicle build environment, supporting critical programmes with real purpose.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly and fitting to engineering drawings
• Working to defined quality, safety, and production standards
• Supporting prototype and production vehicle builds
• Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Electrical Technician
• Background in automotive, defence, military vehicles, or complex assemblies
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Military or ex-forces experience is highly desirable
