Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (ideally with plumbing and supervisory experience) to work on behalf of a building services maintenance company based at a static site in Northamptonshire.

This is a temp-to-perm position so we are ideally looking for someone with a short notice period!

Working hours: M-F, 8-5

Salary: Up to 50k dependent on experience

Duties of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Dealing with PPM's and some potential reactive
• Background suited to plumbing or fabric trades, with experience in small works and installations.
• Role includes small works lead responsibilities with some supervisory and management elements.
• Opportunity within a smaller FM firm, aligned with a general management career route.

Qualifications & Technical Background of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Level 2/3 mechanical or plumbing with some electrical knowledge.
• Experience valued in small works management , subcontractor coordination, and FM exposure.
• Familiarity with permits, briefings, project plans, and transition from trade to project delivery is beneficial.
