Job Description:

Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Coventry 
Salary: £70K + Package 

The Role:

• Manage mechanical building services projects from handover through to final completion.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Take full responsibility for safety, efficiency, cost control, and client satisfaction.

• Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

• Oversee daily site activities, managing Supervisors and site teams.

• Lead procurement of labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors.

• Ensure compliance with project contract terms, company processes, and health & safety requirements.

• Produce, maintain, and update project programmes, monitoring progress and mitigating risks.

• Provide accurate financial updates, support change control, and assist with applications for payment.

• Attend design meetings, lead technical coordination, and ensure installation quality through to final handover.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Relevant mechanical services qualification.

• 5+ years’ experience in a mechanical project management or similar role within building services contracting.

• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

• SMSTS Qualification.

• Valid CSCS card.

• Strong leadership and team management skills with mentoring ability.

• Excellent communication, client-facing, and organisational skills.
