Location: Midlands (National Travel Required)

Salary: £22.50 per hour (£49,725 basic based on 42.5 hours)

Overview

We are working with an established mechanical contractor delivering commercial plumbing installations across office buildings and commercial premises nationwide. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Plumbing Supervisor based in the Midlands to oversee projects across multiple UK locations.

While the role is Midlands-based, projects are delivered nationally, with a high volume of work currently in Cambridge, Telford, London and Nottingham. Staying away from home will be required depending on project location.

This is a hands-on supervisory position offering paid door-to-door travel and consistent working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising plumbing installations on commercial office and workplace fit-out projects
• Managing site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and to programme
• Coordinating with project managers and other trades on site
• Ensuring all installations meet current regulations and quality standards
• Conducting site inspections and maintaining health & safety compliance
• Monitoring productivity and reporting progress to senior management
• Assisting with problem-solving and technical queries on site

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Supervisor within commercial environments
• Strong background working on office blocks and commercial premises
• SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
• CSCS Card
• SSSTS / SMSTS (desirable)
• First Aid (desirable)
