You’ll join a busy and fast growing sheet metal manufacturer in Loughborough that supplies huge names across the UK. With around 100 employees and a full order book heading well into next year, they’re a local success story known for investing heavily in training, equipment and people.
They’re looking for someone who takes pride in a flawless finish and wants to build a real career, not just clock in and out.
Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Hours: Rotating shifts Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
Contract Type: Permanent
Pay: £12.60 - £13.80 per hour (based on experience, reviewed after probation)

Your Responsibilities:
- Operate linishing and polishing machinery to finish metal components to a high standard
- Prepare and smooth surfaces using abrasives, sanding belts and polishing wheels
- Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy and consistency
- Work with stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel components
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe and organised workspace
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in metal finishing, linishing or polishing within manufacturing or fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work
- Confident working with power tools and machinery safely
- Able to follow instructions and maintain consistency under tight deadlines
- A team player who’s reliable, proactive and willing to learn
