MFL Teacher Job - Maternity Cover

• Start date: 27th October 2025
• End date: July 2026
• Minimum of 3 days or full-time depending on availability
• Teaching KS3 Spanish & Year 7 French

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in West-Leicestershire who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed MFL Teacher to cover maternity leave from October Half Term. This is a part-time job working minimum of 3 days a week until the end of the academic year. Full-time is an option for the right candidate. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.

Job Description

• Delivering engaging and creative MFL lessons.
• Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
• Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
• Recent experience teaching Spanish and/or French at secondary school level.
• Strong behaviour/classroom management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
