Fixed Term Contract - 9 months with potential to extend/go perm

Salary: up to £65,000 + Van

Location: Birmingham/Nottingham/Peterborough with regional travel (2 hours from home location)

Our client, a leading provider of integrated facilities management and infrastructure solutions, is seeking an experienced M&E Asset Surveyor to support the mobilisation and delivery of a newly secured TFM government contract going live in October 2025.

This is a fixed-term contract role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial sites.

You will be responsible for conducting Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) surveys, inspections, and condition assessments across multiple sites, identifying and reporting on asset condition, compliance, and lifecycle requirements.

Your role will involve providing technical expertise to ensure all statutory and contractual obligations are met while supporting planned maintenance strategies and capital investment planning.

Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as an M&E Surveyor within the FM or building services sector.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Experience working on government or public sector contracts (desirable).
• Ability to produce detailed reports and recommendations.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
• Flexibility to travel between sites as required.
