Location: Leicester| Salary: Competitive + Overtime (x1.5) | Full-Time, Permanent

Are you a skilled Toolmaker with a background in CNC milling, looking to join a thriving, forward-thinking engineering business?

We’re representing an established and fast-growing precision engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of high-quality plastic injection moulds, supplying critical components into key UK and European industries. Known for their attention to detail and customer-focused approach, this company has recently expanded their facilities and invested in brand-new machinery to support their projected 50% growth over the next 12 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mould Toolmaker to join a close-knit, supportive team that values craftsmanship, flexibility, and continuous improvement. You'll enjoy working in a well-organised, clean toolroom environment where quality and precision are paramount.

What you’ll be doing:

• Programming and operating CNC machines to manufacture high-spec tooling

• Interrogating tool designs to ensure manufacturability and efficiency

• Electrode and insert manufacture

• Spark and wire eroding (Sodick CNC machines)

• Manual grinding, polishing and fitting of mould inserts

• Assembling/disassembling injection mould tools

• Interpreting engineering drawings (2D & 3D)

• Checking your own work using precision measuring instruments

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a toolmaking or similar precision environment

• Strong CNC milling knowledge; programming experience preferred

• Meticulous attention to detail and a real pride in producing quality work

• Familiarity with NCG CAM or Visi Mould (desirable, but training provided)

• Flexible and proactive approach to varied work
