Job Title; Moulding Setter

Salary; £35,242.25 per annum

Shift; Nightshift 10.00pm-06.00am Monday to Friday

Location; Leicestershire

Our client, a leading global engineering company based in Leicestershire are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their established team.

The prime responsibility is to ensure that product is manufactured according to the current production plan undertaking regular checks to ensure that product is made to the customer’s satisfaction.

The Moulding Setter Role;

• Check the daily schedule with the Production/Plant Manager and check on-going activities from the previous shift.
• Operate lines on a daily basis to ensure all production orders are complete. 
• Set-up injection moulding machines for production and/or sampling as required by Supervisor or Works Orders to the company's standard setting procedures.
• Ensure that all tools and machines are set up to the requirements of the Quality Control/Setting Sheet for the relevant job.
• Complete the relevant Production Control/Quality Control documentation and machine log books as necessary.
• Ensure that any alteration to setting sheets is noted
• Ensure any processing or tooling faults are noted and communicated through the Job Card.
• Correct processing faults with injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment.
• Set-up secondary work machines such as ultrasonic welders, drills, inserting machines, etc.
• Ensure that all relevant documentation is completed neatly and correctly and ensure machines are running to the correct cycle.
• Ensure that any work you carry out on tools is done in a correct and intelligent manner.

Our Moulding Setter Candidate;

• Previous recent experience in plastic injection moulding.
• Formal qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Able to commit to a permanent rotating shift.
• Experience working with Krauss Maffei or Arbug machines would be a significant advantage.
• Good standard of English, written and verbal, is essential.
• Ability to use own initiative and able to work unsupervised once trained.
• Be flexible, reliable and possess good time-keeping.
