Job Title - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location - Melton Mowbray

Salary: Up to £45,000

Shift: 4 on 4 off - Days Only

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy FMCG manufacturing site in Melton Mowbray. The company prides itself on a positive working culture where teamwork and mutual respect are at the centre of daily operations.

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Sector - FMCG Manufacturing

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.

   

• Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced industrial factory.

   

Essential Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.

   

• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).

   

• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

   

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.

   

• Experience working with PLCs, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs.
