Maintenance Engineer
Coventry
Double Days (Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm)
40,000 + Overtime (1.5x)

The Company
A global Tier 1 automotive manufacturer supplying complex components, body systems, and assemblies to leading OEMs. With a reputation for engineering excellence and continuous innovation, the business is expanding its maintenance team to support further growth.

The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This is a 50/50 multi-skilled role (or 60/40 electrically biased), maintaining and fault-finding across a range of automated machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• PLC fault finding (Fanuc, Omron, Siemens)
• Pneumatics and some hydraulics
• CNC machinery support
• Electrical systems: single and 3-phase, sensors, drives, invertors, motors
• Mechanical components: chains, belts, pumps, valves, bearings
• Basic welding and fabrication
• Reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

Experience Required

• Apprentice trained, time-served engineer
• NVQ Level 3 (electrical preferred)
• Knowledge of health & safety and electrical qualifications
