Monday - Friday double days (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
This is a long‑established Corby manufacturer with a genuinely friendly, down‑to‑earth team and a reputation for looking after people. Roles/Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical, electrical and pneumatic maintenance, fault‑finding and repairs across a range of production machinery.
- Provide day‑to‑day engineering support across site, ensuring equipment and processes run safely and reliably.
- Complete planned maintenance, routine checks and basic site upkeep, with specialist work passed to contractors when needed.
- Respond confidently to issues during the day shift, using sound judgement to keep production moving.
- Work closely with the engineering team to maintain a safe, organised and efficient operation.
What We're Looking For
- A multiskilled engineer with a mechanical/electrical background
- A recognized engineering qualification such as NVQ, BTEC or C&G
- A time-served engineer able to work alone at times.
- A steady, reliable person with good judgement, problem‑solving ability and the maturity to work without constant supervision.
- Experience in manufacturing, processing or heavy industry is ideal!
