NDT Technician

Job Description:

Are you an NDT Technician who has worked to aerospace standards? If so, this position could be a great fit for you. We are working with a leading aerospace manufacturing organisation who are looking to recruit a Level 2 qualified NDT Technician to carry out FPI/DPI/LPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection) activities on a range of components. The ideal candidate will be qualified to aerospace standards (EN-4179).

7:30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 12:30pm on Friday

Job Description

• Undertake Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of parts for the aerospace industry
• Carry out Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI)
• Develop and document NDT techniques to meet company and customer requirements
• Ensure product is conforming to customer specifications and drawings.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Qualified to aerospace standards (EN-4179)

• Level 2 qualified in FPI/DPI/LPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection/Dye Penetrant Inspection/Liquid Penetrant Inspection)
• Ability to read customer specifications and drawings
