An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client an established housing provider in the UK. My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services.
Vacancy Brief:
- The role is that of a Night Support Worker; this is a permanent opportunity.
- A full-time role, it is 38.5 hours per week with four nights on and four nights off. Flexibility across the week is required.
- Perm Salary is £27,446.93 - £29,068.04 per annum including disturbance allowance.
- Shift Pattern is 20:00 PM – 08:00 AM
- The role is site based.
- Role is subject to an Enhanced DBS covering Children and Adults workforce check.
The Responsibilities:
- As a Night Support Worker, you will work with young people offering supported opportunities for them to improve their quality of life, develop their skills and make decisions about their future.
- Part of your role as a Night Support Worker, you will participate in the staff team’s provision of individual support assessments, including safety management, advice, emotional support, and practical assistance.
- In your job role as a Night Support worker, you will work in line with Ofsted regulations.
- An important aspect of your job role will be to ensure that the inspection of rooms take place where possible and making appropriate arrangements to deal with all repair and maintenance issues within agreed timescales, and in accordance with tenancy agreements and management agreements.
- An integral aspect of your role as a Night Support worker, will be to participate in staff meetings, supervision meetings, training, team development sessions and other meetings as required, reporting back to the team as appropriate.
- Furthermore, you will foster the equality, diversity and rights of others by ensuring people are respected and valued as individuals.
