Our client, a highly regarded and family-run nursery group, is seeking a passionate and driven Nursery Manager to oversee their established setting in the Sherwood area of Nottingham.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the nursery, ensuring exceptional standards of care and education in line with EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, mentoring, and motivating a dedicated nursery team.

• Ensuring high-quality teaching and learning environments.

• Building strong, positive relationships with families, staff, and external agencies.

• Maintaining compliance and readiness for Ofsted inspections.

• Driving continuous improvement and staff development.

About you 

We’re Looking for someone with:

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (UK recognised).

• Strong leadership experience within an early years setting.

• In-depth knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding practices.

• A passion for inspiring and supporting both children and staff.

• GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths – or willingness to obtain within 2 years.
