Hours: Monday to Friday
Pay: £12.85 – £14.50 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for an organised and reliable Office / Accounts Administrator / Manager to support the smooth running of our busy nursery. Working closely with the Director/Nursery Manager, you will manage the nursery office and oversee key financial administration.
This is a varied role combining office management, accounts work, and parent liaison.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day nursery office operations
- Act as first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors
- Handle invoicing, credit control, and nursery grant funding
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records
- Order supplies and manage office resources
- Support HR administration and nursery policies
- Assist with events, marketing, and general administration
- Handle enquiries and complaints professionally
What We’re Looking For
- Previous office or administrative experience
- Experience with invoicing/accounts and spreadsheets (essential)
- Strong numerical and organisational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage confidential information
An interest in working within a nursery environment is desirable but not essential.
