💰 £40,000 + £3,000 Car Allowance
🕒 Monday–Friday | 08:00–16:00

The Opportunity

We’re working with a growing and well-established distribution business in Coventry, currently looking for an Operations Manager to take full ownership of a busy warehouse operation.

You’ll be responsible for a site with 100+ staff, overseeing FLT Reach Drivers, PPT Operatives, and Warehouse Staff ensuring everything runs efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

They need someone who can step in, take control, and lead from the front.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, including:

• Managing and leading a large operational team (100+ heads)

• Overseeing goods-in, picking, dispatch, and overall workflow

• Driving performance, productivity, and accountability across all shifts

• Ensuring strong health & safety standards are followed at all times

• Managing stock accuracy and operational processes

• Dealing with issues head-on and making quick, effective decisions

• Working closely with senior leadership to improve efficiency and output

What They’re Looking For

This role needs someone who understands warehouse operations:

You’ll need:

• Proven experience managing large warehouse teams

• A hands-on approach – you’ll be on the floor, not just in the office

• Strong leadership – able to set and enforce strong standards.

• Experience overseeing FLT / PPT operations

• Solid understanding of warehouse processes, KPIs, and workflow
