Location: Swains Park Plant, Swadlincote, Derbyshire
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts – 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am

As an Operative, you’ll play a vital role in our site operations, reporting directly to the Site Manager. You’ll be hands-on across various areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch, and housekeeping — all while maintaining the highest safety standards in line with CRH and SHE protocols.

Due to the site’s location and shift times, having your own transport is highly recommended.

• Achieve daily production targets
• Record and report quality data
• Load/unload products from plant and vehicles
• Ensure accurate and timely dispatch to meet customer expectations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site

• Proven experience in a production and despatch environment
• Good communication skills and strong numeracy
• Mobile plant licence for diesel counterbalance forklift truck (desirable)
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Previous experience with manual handling
