Painter and Decorator
Location: Council Offices, Southfield Road, Loughborough, LE11 2TX
Start Date: ASAP                                               
Contract Duration: 2+ Month
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Paint and decorate various surfaces.

• Tile floors and walls.

• Order and collect materials.

• Use PDAs for job tasks.

• Work safely at heights using ladders and scaffolds.

• Handle voids and responsive repairs.

Person Specifications
Must Have:

• Completed apprenticeship in painting and decorating.

• At least 1 year of experience post-apprenticeship.

• Knowledge of current building legislation and health and safety.

• Punctuality and technical skills.

• Computer literacy.

• Understanding of social housing.

• Asbestos awareness and removal experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in working with voids and responsive repairs.
