Job Description:
Our public sector client are looking for a Painter to join them on a temporary basis.
Pay Rate - £15.22ph - £16.03ph
Core responsibilities:
To carry out repairs and maintenance work to a variety of Council properties within North West Leicestershire.
- To undertake all works to the required standard in accordance with current regulations following manufacturer’s instructions.
- To carry out tasks within the NWLDC Multi-Skill Assessment to the required standard.
- To utilise all tools, accessories and equipment issued in an appropriate manner.
- To effectively contribute to the provision of accurate records for time, SOR’s and materials to each works order with the use of a smart phone device (PDA)
- Complete work surveys to establish work and materials required.
- To liaise with the Asset Management Support Team to ensure job activities are scheduled effectively.
- Support a culture where excellent customer service and continuous improvement is part of the working day.
- To maintain vehicle stock levels at optimum level so that a ‘Right First Time’ approach can be achieved.
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

- To undertake any other reasonable tasks appropriate to the grading of the post and as required by the line manager
