Electrical Fitter / Panel Wirer
Location: Long Eaton
Pay Rate: £28,000 - £32,000
Shift: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm, Friday 1pm Finish

Engineering @365 is working with a leading manufacturer of industrial electrical assemblies, specialising in high-quality bench-mounted and frame-mounted products across multiple industries. We are looking for a skilled Electrical Fitter / Panel Wirer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:

Assemble electrical panels, frame-mounted units, and bench-mounted products in line with technical drawings and build packs.

Perform panel wiring and electrical fitting for low voltage instrumentation, 110v/230v mains, and high-power 3-phase systems.

Conduct thorough self-inspections to ensure all work meets ISO QMS and in-house quality standards.

Maintain clean, safe, and organized assembly areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Generate Modification Request Notices (MRNs) for any discrepancies in BOMs, drawings, or assembly processes.

Collaborate with other Electrical Fitters, panel builders, and assembly teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements / Skills:

Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter and Panel Wirer, with hands-on panel assembly experience.

Competent with low voltage instrumentation, 110v/230v mains, and 3-phase equipment.

Strong attention to detail, high-quality workmanship, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Knowledge of ISO procedures, SOPs, and workplace health & safety regulations.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team on larger electrical assembly projects.
Reporting: Reports directly to the Assembly Manager.
