Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts for
aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for an
Accounts & Payroll Administrator to assist team.
Accounts & Payroll Administrator Fixed Term Contract (6 Months)£13.57 an hour (£12k Pro Rata)07:00am-16:00pm OR 08:00am-17:00pm Monday & Tuesday 17 hours per weekDerby Accounts & Payroll AdministratorJob Description - Process all invoices in line with agreed Service level agreement
- Create new supplier accounts and maintain existing supplier accounts
- Petty cash and safety shoe transactions
- Reconcile supplier statements including but not limited to the top 20 suppliers
- Prepare control account reconciliations for purchase ledger - inclusive of GRNI
- Monitor GRNI and collate manual orders received not invoiced
- Prepare stock and manual order accruals and prepayments
- Process supplier payments by BACS or one-off payments for review for processing
- Enhance controls in place for processes and suggest improvements to the current processes and controls
- Respond to supplier queries within 72 hours and reduce supplier queries by assisting the business in getting things right first time
- Create new customer accounts and maintain existing customer accounts
- Assist with credit control when requested
- Process ad hoc sales invoices and credit notes
- Assist in the preparation of the daily cash books
- Assist with weekly timesheet checks and reporting
- Answer telephone, scanning and filing
