💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients
• Ensure all payroll deadlines are met and comply with current legislation
• Handle starters, leavers, holiday pay, SSP, SMP, auto-enrolment pensions, and year-end processes
• Respond to client queries professionally and accurately via phone and email
• Perform manual calculations and reconciliations where needed
• Collaborate with senior payroll officers and contribute to process improvements

✅ What They Are Looking For:

• Previous end-to-end payroll processing experience (bureau experience is a plus!)
• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation
• A customer-first approach and excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task under pressure
• Familiarity with payroll software such as Sage, Iris, BrightPay, or similar
