Derbyshire | Hybrid (2–3 days on site)

£40,000 – £45,000 + benefits

Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking to step into a role where you can influence process, drive improvement and contribute to a growing, international business?

Eaton Syalon are supporting a high-growth group with operations across the UK and overseas as they continue to scale their finance function. With continued expansion and an exciting transformation journey underway, they are now looking to appoint a Payroll Manager to join their talented team.

Reporting into the Group Head of Payroll, you will have ownership of delivering a timely and accurate payroll service whilst playing a key role in developing the payroll function as the group evolves.

The Role

• Manage and deliver monthly payroll cycles across a multi-site, multi-entity group
• Ensure compliance with HMRC requirements, internal controls, and legislation
• Take a hands-on role in payroll processing, calculations, and system input
• Resolve payroll queries, providing accurate guidance to the wider business
• Support ongoing payroll and system improvements as the group expands
• Collaborate with finance, HR and operational leaders to ensure seamless data flow
• Produce payroll reporting, analysis and reconciliations
• Ensure accurate management of deductions, pensions, benefits & statutory payments
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes relating to payroll

About You

• Experienced Senior Payroll or Payroll Manager with multi-entity exposure
• Strong working knowledge of CIS  and IR35 (essential)
• Confident interpreting payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
• Familiar with payroll systems and comfortable improving processes
• Strong communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally
• Proactive, organised and able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
